OOTD: I want to live in New York

I've been away for quite awhile and have finally made time to sit down and write a few blog posts that are so overdue. I went to America with my family last week and I tried to do a few outfit of the days in each of the places I visited. So lets start at the beginning New York. 

I decided to go for casual top (asos) and shorts (zara sale) to wear out to a local restaurant called 'Penelope'. This white cropped t-shirt goes with just about anything and have definitely got a lot of use out of it since purchasing it a few months ago. These blue and white stripped shorts are perfect to dress up and dress down and are so comfortable to wear.

For my hair I decided to 'try' and do a milk braid in my hair but it definitely didn't go as well as planned but this hairstyle is definitely on the easier side to do but the one thing I would say is that you have lots of bobby pins to help you keep it in place. Look out for a tutorial coming soon.

Now for the make-up, I went for a very subtle make up look and used my Rimmel stay matte powder, lLoreal super liner to make small flicks and used my favourite clinique waterproof mascara then used one of my new EOS balm in strawberry (blogpost coming soon).
