Cranberry.

I thought I'd do a post on the make up I was wearing today. I don't normally wear a lot of makeup of a Sunday as I have work to do and blog posts to write but I was in the mood to try out a new makeup look so I went for a crandberry eyeshadow and a matte nude lipstick as I thought they went well together.

Base - I applied some Avene moisturiser and then my beloved Mac studio fix foundation. If you have quite dry skin I would suggest applying a moisturiser before using the Mac studio fix as its quite thick and matte. Then I went for my Bourjois healthy mix concealer and powdered my face with my favourite Rimmel stay matte pressed powder although you can skip this step as this foundation doesn't need a powder but I get quite oily skin on my forehead so this step is a must for me. For blusher I used my Nars blush in deep throat as it gives a very subtle pinky glow. Then for bronzer I used my Sleek face contour kit in light to define my cheek bones.

Eyes - I went for one eye shadow which was Mac cranberry which I put in my crease. Then for eye-liner I used my favourite one which is the Soap and Glory supercat liner which is amazing to get that cat eye flick and at only £6 you can't go wrong. For mascara I used the new Benefit Roller lash (review on this coming soon) as this gives the most amazing volume and length to the lashes.

Lips - I went for a nude which was the Mac matte lipstick velvet teddy which I've only just got my hands on and love it already (again a blog post coming soon on this). As this lipstick is matte I always apply a lip balm before hand and I decided to for my Carmex as it always does the trick.

I hope you liked this make up tutorial! Let me know what make up looks you have been wearing recently.
