Drugstore Haul

I recently made a cheeky trip to boots to pick up some new products that I have been wanting to try for ages.

I finally got my hands on the Real techniques miracle complexion sponge and the sculpting brush. I have never tried applying my foundation with a sponge before but after using this I am definitely hooked. It completely changes the way your make-up looks. I struggle with dry skin during the colder months so sometimes putting on foundation can be a real struggle however this has changed a lot since this sponge. The sculpting brush hasn't been out for very long but I have heard so many amazing things about it I had to see what all the fuss was about. Its a struggle to even look like I have cheek bones so I wasn't expecting to look like Angelina Jolie however this brush definitely helps towards faking it but in a very natural way. As its a synthetic brush its also very good to use with cream products which is perfect for me as I love the Chanel tan de soleil.

Next onto the new maybelline matte lipsticks which everyone has been raving about recently. I picked up two colours one in a nude shade called 'nude embrace' which is a very light nude perfect for those days when you don't really want to wear something bright. The next colour I wanted to try was a much darker red called 'divine wine' which I had heard so many good things about. These lipsticks are definitely not drying at all like most lipsticks but instead are very moisturing and creamy.

I've been wanting to buy one of hourglass blisters but because of the high price tag I opted for the cheaper dupes which are the Max factor creme puff blushes. I went for the shade lavish mauve which gives a very subtle shimmery glow. These are very long-lasting and at only £8.99 its such a good price for the quality of these products.
