Boots Haul.
Yes the title of this post is a boots haul. And yes I was supposed to be saving up for a million and one things that I really need. Make up probably shouldn't be on that list. As I always do when I'm in boots I had to pick a few things up. It was 3 for 2 after all.
I have wanted to try a matte bronzer for quite a while now to go with my Chanel solei tan de Chanel which I love and use quite a lot. Everyone raves about the Benefit hoola bronzer but I wasn't ready to spend over £20 on a product just yet. So I opted for one of the trusting L'oreal products.
Lip liners have also been on my list of things to get as I wanted to compare my Charlotte Tilbury one and maybe find a dupe for it. I picked up the L'oreal lip liner but I definitely wouldn't say this is a dupe. The Charlotte Tilbury lip cheats as much creamer as this one is quite drying which is something I'm not that keen on. However the colour is very true and pigmented. It does last all day but you definitely need a lip balm before applying.
Finally I picked up the only thing I was supposed to be buying in the first place and that was the Bourjois CC cream, which I have seen a lot of bloggers use recently. I wanted something that would not only give me a light to medium coverage but also add moisture to my skin.
Let me know if you have tried any of these products.I am looking for a good drug store lip liner so if you have any recommendations please let me know.

I really want to try the bourjois cc cream as well, but the shade selection is pretty disappointing...

I'm saving up as well! So I haven't bought anything recently :) It's so difficult if there are any promotions going on to just walk past them!
ReplyDeleteI've heard a lot of good stuff about the Rimmel lip liners... Just a tip ;)
