All that glitters

It's finally Friday and this is the day people love to go out, dress up, and have a work free night. I have been lovely pinky eye shadows recently as I feel that it goes quite nicely with my complexion. Here are 3 different eyeshadows that I have loved wearing this month. I wanted to include a range of higher end to drug store products so everyone has the option to purchase something like this.

First off lets talk about the cheaper alternatives and probably one of the best. That is the Maybelline colour tattoo in pink gold. These have always been hyped up and I definitely know why. I already have 3 of these and they are the best eye shadow bases. Easy to blend, last all day and night, highly pigmented and so creamy. Costing only 4.99 you really can't go wrong with a product like this. Pink gold is very shimmery but its not too overpowering.

I have just started a mac palette and the first two shades that were on my list to get was malt (a matte pink) and all that glitter (a shimmery pink) which I have heard a lot of people talk about. They are quite pricey at 10.00 but for the quality is very good. Mac have an amazing range of colours, so I'm very excited to finish off my mac palette.

Lastly is one of the easiest eye shadow bases to apply and that is one of the Charlotte Tilbury colour chameleon for blue eyes (yes I'm aware I don't have blue eyes but this colour was just too beautiful not to pick up). Its so creamy, pigmented and the colour is so lovely.

If you like these sort of pinky shades I would definitely recommend the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette which I've done a review on here.

  3. I have had the all that glitters MAC eyeshadow for years, I love it in the summer when am a bit tanned (although the tan thing is extremely rare). One thing I would say about collecting MAC eyeshadows is to be really careful about which ones you buy, I brought so many due to the hype of them and half of them just don't suit me. Over the years I must of wasted about £100. The thought of that makes me feel slightly ill. Good luck collecting though, they are worth it if you pick the right shades.

  4. All that glitters looks so pretty, it will definitely be one of my first shades to add to a palette (when I get round to making one!)
